Registration Information - 2020

Registrations will be open in January 2020

Westside Grovely will be implementing the Majestri program that will help with the registration process. More details will follow in due course.

The Play Football system will still be used in conjunction with Majestri. Click HERE to access the PlayFootball website then follow the instructions. (For support using the website, please contact (02) 8880 7983 or on the web site PlayFootball Support)

IMPORTANT! When registering, be sure to select the correct club name – Westside Sports Club Inc. or you may register with the wrong club.

After registering, come to the Club sign-on day if necessary:
  • If you did not pay your registration online, you can pay for your registration by EFTPOS on sign-on day. Please bring your invoice so we can identify the registration.
  • If you have any questions or don’t have access to the online sign on.
  • To sample shirt, short and sock sizes, enabling the club to place a uniform order prior to the season commencement.

Fees

Westside is strongly committed to keeping our fees as competitive as possible while at the same time working to improve the club’s facilities and services. Our membership fees cover fees and levy charges from FFA, FQ and FB as well as the ever increasing costs of running the day to day activities of the club.

Our registration fees for 2020 are as follows:

  • Mini Roos – Boys and Girls: U6-U11 yrs – $355* – Click here for our Miniroos season info flyer
  • Juniors – Boys and Girls: U12 (9 x 9) – $395*
  • Juniors – Boys and Girls: U13-U16 yrs – $455*

*Mini Roos and Junior fees Include: Club membership, Football Brisbane, Football QLD and FFA affiliation fees, Football QLD insurance, team photo, trophy, Player’s kit (shirt, shorts and socks to keep) No additional weekly match fees. Players need their own shin guards and boots.

  • Seniors – Men’s Capital League 2 – $600*
  • Seniors – Men’s City League – $550*
  • Seniors – Women’s City League – $500*

*Seniors fees include: Club Membership, Football Brisbane, Football QLD and FFA affiliation fees, Football QLD insurance, player’s kit are provided and retained by the Club. No additional weekly match fees.

  • Over 30s – Women’s – $300*
  • Over 35s – Men’s – $350*
  • Over 45s – Men’s – $350*

*O30 Women’s & O35/O45 Men’s fees include: Club Membership, affiliation fees, Football QLD insurance, player’s kit comprising one pair of socks. Shorts at own cost. Playing shirts retained by the club. No additional weekly match fees

Family Discount

Westside offers a family discount of $25 for each additional family member. Family is defined as a direct relative (eg; sibling) who resides in the same household. Select the Family Discount option when registering.

Payment

Payments should be made online when registering via the PlayFootball website. We will also accept cash, eftpos or credit card at the clubhouse on Sign-On days. Note that a 2% surcharge applies to credit card payments. Payments can also be made via direct deposit to the club.

Please email the amount paid, receipt number, date paid and the reference you entered to treasurer@westsidesports.com.au so we can quickly identify your payment.

The club has a strict policy of “No Pay – No Play”. We require full payment to be made prior to the commencement of matches in fairness to the majority who pay on time. Payment plans may be available; to apply please contact the Club registrar at secretary@westsidesports.com.au

Westside Grovely FC Is A “Get Started” Club.

What is Get Started?

Get Started is one of three funding programs that comprise the Queensland Government’s Get in the Game initiative to support sport and recreation at the grassroots level. Get Started assists children from 5 and young people under 18 who can least afford, or may otherwise benefit from, joining a sport or recreation club.

A maximum of $150 per voucher is available to help pay the cost of sport or recreation membership and/or participation fees.

How do I apply for a voucher?

A QGrants account is required to apply for a voucher. You can register for a QGrants account at any time. Voucher applications for Round 13 will open early 2019. Click here for more information.
